HISTORY
Back in 1938, Mrs. Lillian Belcher started a telephone answering service for Pittsfield’s medical professionals, using six telephones and six message pads on her living room coffee table. After several expansions, Mrs. Belcher sold the service in 1979, to the Gore family of Lee. Richard and Barbara Gore retired in 1996, and their daughter, Julie Gore Mooney, became the current second-generation president.

Today, Berkshire Communicators Inc. has 25 employees, and Mrs. Belcher’s half dozen phones have been replaced by a staff of professional operators. With our advanced computer-aided Telemessaging system, we now process more than 3,000 calls per week! This combination of state-of-the-art technology and professional, courteous staff, ensures top-quality service for both you and your customers.
